Ana Mateescu, a brilliant Vancouver filmmaker, made a short video about a fateful trip to Spain I took years ago, when I was drugged, robbed and left for fertilizer in a farmer’s field — except that I woke up like the Man With No Name in the famous Sergio Leone trilogy, and wasn’t cool like Clint Eastwood. Ana’s short film screened at the Broadway East Art Walk Film Festival, on October 11, at the Western Front. I have posted it here for others to see.
